Preparing for Work

Does EMBERS Staffing provide medical and dental benefits?

After three months of full-time work, you qualify for our Health Spending Account which can be used for medical and dental expenses. You must notify EMBERS Staffing to enroll.

Does EMBERS Staffing provide transportation?

In some circumstances where a site is not easily accessible by public transit, we may be able to provide a shuttle service. If you are unsure on how to get to your worksite, we are happy to help you plan your transportation route.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

What basic PPE do I need to get started?

You will need steel-toe boots, a high visibility vest and a hardhat for all worksites. You will be notified by your branch if there are additional requirements.

What happens if I don’t have my own PPE?
